One of London's most exclusive districts, Mayfair in the West End is a great place to live and work.

Living in Mayfair

Mayfair is set roughly between Oxford Street, Regent Street, Piccadilly and Park Lane - at the heart of London. It is the most expensive property on the British Monopoly board game!

The district has opened its doors to the young corporate tenant seeking contemporary style in a central location, with good transport links to the city.

Mayfair's expansive and handsome architecture has always attracted the very wealthy, who are drawn to the district with its elegant squares, broad Georgian thoroughfares and beautiful parks.

Mayfair boasts the capital's most exclusive shops, hotels, restaurants and clubs. International designer Marc Jacobs opened his first UK boutique on Mount Street, and Stella Mccartney's flagship store is on Bruton Street.

Burlington Arcade runs down the side of Burlington House, now home of the Royal Academy of Arts. Shepherd market, a charming small square and piazza is tucked away between Piccadilly and Curzon Street and has long held the reputation as the haunt of high-class prostitutes.

The district is fast becoming the new Notting Hill. There is a huge increase in demand for property, especially among the thirty-somethings, who like to frequent all the trendy places, such as Tramp, Annabel's and Sketch.

For many years property values in Mayfair lagged behind Knightsbridge, Chelsea and Belgravia, but it's catching up fast. Recent buyers see Mayfair as a good investment, with the key locations of Mount Street, North Audley Street, Duke Street and Park Street all perceived to be highly desirable addresses.
