Introduction

It’s believed to date back to the 18th century, possibly even earlier, and was originally a farmhouse on a much larger estate. Later it was converted into two separate cottages, which the current owners have reinstated and improved upon to create one large and very comfortable family home.

The house has preserved much of its rustic, farmhouse-style aesthetic and features lots of exposed brick and beams, wood and tiled floors and has large windows which let in lots of natural light. Everything about it fits together so nicely and while there’s now very little to suggest that it was ever two properties, you certainly benefit from the scale. I love how the owners have created such a welcoming and inviting home, both inside and out.
