A word from the owner...

"We have absolutely loved living in Forest Gate and have made so many happy memories here. We moved into this house as a couple, got engaged and married while living here, welcomed our cats Ernie and Rita, brought our son Iggy home here, and are now expecting our second baby, so it really has been the backdrop to some of the biggest moments of our lives. We love the sense of community and how much there is on our doorstep, with brilliant local places including The Forest Tavern, The Holly Tree, Pretty Decent Taproom, Gio’s, Ramble, Wild Goose Bakery and Lavi, as well as E7 Movement, The Reformery Pilates and Pint-Sized Playhouse. We’re also lucky to be nestled between Wanstead Flats and West Ham Park, giving us so much green space despite being in London. The transport links are fantastic, with the station an easy walk away and quick connections into central London. We’ve put a huge amount of love into the house, and the garden is particularly special in summer when it gets sunshine for most of the day. We genuinely wouldn’t be leaving if our circumstances weren’t changing, but with our family growing we’ve made the difficult decision to move closer to family.
