Owners Comments...
We fell in love with this house the minute we saw it. Being in a private cul-de-sac, the house felt private and secluded, yet in a great location - stumbling distance to the local pubs, co-op and close to open fields and greenery, it really feels like the best of everything!

Inside the house has a light and airy feel. Our favourite area has to be the open plan kitchen/ diner, which has lots of natural light, feels super spacious and is perfect for hosting. It connects to a utility room, which gives plenty of added storage too. The Kitchen/diner also has french doors opening onto the large garden, where we’ve established numerous plants, and added a large decking towards the back, for us this a place of tranquility and an ideal sun-trap on a sunny day.

We also love the living room, this is towards the front of the house, and has a really cosy feel. Upstairs our friends and family have enjoyed the large guest bedrooms, which have also served a great office space for when we’ve worked from home. The master bedroom has a light and airy feel, we’ve added a large built in wardrobe for added storage, and it connects to an en suite too.

Overall, we’ve absolutely loved the house and will be very sad to leave. We hope you love it as much as we do!

We really love the positioning of this house, it feels lovely and private tucked away within the small estate and you've got parking right at the front. First things first, you're welcomed into a lovely big & bright entrance hall. There's a nice cosey lounge to the front, and then the kitchen diner spans the whole width of the back of the property, opening into the garden and is just perfect for entertaining as the real heartbeat of the home. There's a utility and downstairs WC as well. Upstairs there's a lovely landing space and the main bedroom has a big en-suite shower as well as fitted wardrobes. The second two bedrooms are both great sizes (one double, one big single) and the family bathroom is lovely and modern as you'd expect. The owners have cleverly landscaped the garden to make the most of the sun, with a decking area toward the back which makes the most of the sun late into the evenings.

Area Comments...

Garrett Drive is such a great location and the estate is fully private with no flats or high rise buildings making it really desirable spot to live in. To the front of the estate you have green space with cricket grounds and a pavilion as plenty of nice walks close by to enjoy. You are well connected to all your daily needs with Shinfield village having a post office, Co-Op and Crumb's cafè and you also have bus links from here taking you into both Reading and Wokingham towns, with an abundance of shops and restaurants to enjoy. That being said you have one of our favourite pubs within stumbling distance, The Shinfield Arms, perfect for an evening meal or you can enjoy their beer garden in the summer too.
