Property description

Overview

Why buy this home?

As you enter the property, you have a good size hallway with a handy WC to the right hand side. This is a perfect place to remove coats and shoes before entering the living room.

The open plan living space has been well thought out and flows from the kitchen/dining area to the living room. The kitchen has high gloss units and wood effect worktops, giving it a premium look. Integrated appliances consist of a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and oven. There is also a gas cooker top. The kitchen leads to the dining space, which is big enough for a four or even six seater table. The current owners have a large sofa however you could go for a corner sofa that would give you some natural separation from the kitchen and living space.

Double doors from the living room take you to the southwest-facing garden. For a newly built property, the garden is a very good size, and there's plenty of room outside for dining, Perfect for when it is your turn to host the family BBQs. The current owners have also added a summer house with insulation and electrics, this would make a fantastic office space or bar. Lastly, there's a shed in the garden for all your gardening equipment and access to the driveway.

On the first floor, you will find two double bedrooms and a good size single. The third bedroom is currently being used as a dressing room/office; however, this would be perfect for the youngest family member. The second bedroom would comfortably fit a double bed leaving enough space for a wardrobe and drawers. The master bedroom is at the front of the house and has a built-in wardrobe plus an all-important ensuite. To finish off the 1st floor, you have the family bathroom, which has been tiled around the bath and has a glass shower screen.

Parking is provided by a driveway big enough for two cars.

It is important to note that this houses falls under the highly desirable Buckinghamshire County Council section of Newton Leys, meaning it benefits from school catchments for the surrounding villages.

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. With some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.

Primary Schooling is provided by the surrounding villages and Secondary Schooling is provided by Cottesloe in Wing or Royal Latin Grammar School in Buckingham.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. Ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
