Wing has a rich history dating back more than a thousand years. At various times it has been known as Witehunge or Weowungum, Wyenge and Guionga, and in the 19th century as Wenge.The village was first mentioned in the Charter of the Saxon Queen Aelfgifu in 966AD. But some archaeological finds suggest its roots go back much further. It is a village and civil parish located in east Buckinghamshire.

Surrounded by countryside this village has plenty to offer. From a Saxon Church to the Cock Inn village pub. There is a chemist, hairdressers, barbers, village shop, post office and two gp surgeries. For those looking for an active lifestyle there is a Social club, an active Village hall with a snooker club, tennis courts, a bowls club, and a football pitch. There is a weekly market, Indian restaurant, Chinese, Fish & Chips and a Thai takeaway.
