Property description

Detached house built over 3 storeys and situated within its own 14.6 acres of grounds and woodland. The property offers flexible accommodation and has been thoughtfully designed to capture the best of the outstanding views over the National Park. EPC - C.

The Property

Stands in an enviable position, surrounded by its own 14.6 acres. A long driveway leads to a large open area with parking for several vehicles. The surrounding formal gardens have been beautifully attended by the current owners, boasting an abundance of flowering shrubs and plants. There is also a patio seating area and a south facing terrace, which enjoy the sun throughout the day into the evening and are ideal for alfresco dining.

On Entering The Property

There is a wonderful entrance hall with floor to ceiling glass taking in the full panoramic views. From here three en suite bedrooms are accessed, including a master suite with floor to ceiling windows onto a balcony overlooking the view. A real feature of the home is the central oak staircase to the middle floor.
On the middle floor there are two further bedrooms, both en suite. One of the key features of this home is the superb reception spaces, one on the middle floor (with wood burner) and also the whole lower floor, making this a great home for entertaining.

The lower floor is the hub of the home, with an open plan flow, comprising a contemporary fitted kitchen, dining and lounge area and doors leading directly out onto the south facing terrace and patio seating areas. Terraces run by the side of the property creating great flow between the inside and outside space.

The Grounds

The grounds themselves are wonderful with a wide range of mature trees and woodland which is full of bluebells and wildflowers, with the added bonus of a small meadow. Flowing through the land is a beautiful spring which feeds the pond at the bottom of the garden. There is a summerhouse, and outbuildings which house the wood pellet boiler and water treatment system, with plenty of space for a workshop and wood storage.
