I have lived in my home for twenty years and enjoyed the time enormously. When I first viewed the house it immediately felt like home rather than a collection of cold rooms. The lounge is a wonderful large comfortable room and was at one point the lounge bar of the Three Horseshoes during its time as a public house. I love the flow of the house which allows me to prepare food in the kitchen and then move to the dining room which has a very large table set for 8 people and after dinner moving to the comfort of the lounge.
The upstairs has four double bedrooms each one able to take a king size bed. Currently I use the fourth bedroom as an office but this is just a matter of furniture. The garden is a courtyard and is completely private and sheltered and set out as a cottage garden.
In April the front of the house is covered in wonderful racines of Wisteria and is recognised by everyone in the village hence our cottage name.
In winter it is great to light the fire in the lounge and although completely un-necessary due to the central heating the feel of a real fire, not to mention the toast it produces, is a lovely feeling.
I am certain that everyone following me in the ownership of the house will love it as much as I do and have done and will care for it as much as myself for others to follow on.
