Description

The Old Chapel comprises an effectively end-terraced, two-storey former Chapel building dating from the mid-19th Century. It has a pitched slate roof and load bearing brick walls and two distinctive roundheaded windows to the front elevation. There is a central timber/glazed pedestrian access door with similar, ornate roundhead fan light above. To the rear of the property there is a traditionally-constructed single-storey addition and there are further windows to the side elevation.

Internally the property is well presented having painted plaster walls, recess spotlighting together with air conditioning units at ground floor level. There is a staff kitchen towards the front of the premises at ground floor level and a staircase serving the upper floor. To the rear of the premises is a utility room and store together with a cloakroom/WC facility for staff and clients.

At upper floor level there is a large, open retail/salon area which forms a mezzanine and there are further air conditioning units (which we understand do not function). There are exposed beams in this area and a laminate floor finish. Towards the rear is a consulting room, small office and cloakroom/WC.
