Our prominent corner office at 73, Abbeville Road, situated in the heart of ‘Abbeville Village’, has made an instant and impressive impact since opening our doors in November 2013. The area is generally made up of Victorian and Edwardian houses and maisonettes although some on the South Side of Clapham Common date back further to Georgian times. Most of the roads are laid out in a grid pattern and are bordered by Clapham Park, Clapham South and the Common itself. There is a genuine mix of independent shops, bars and restaurants along the road including ‘ The Ginger Pig’ butchers, ‘The Abbeville’ bar and restaurant, ‘MacFarlanes’ delicatessen and ‘Treohans’ hardware and DIY store – a veritable institution locally. There is also a weekly Farmers Market at Bonneville School on Sundays. The 220 acre Clapham Common is only a short walk with it’s three ponds, the imposing Holy Trinity Church, The Windmill Public House and Hotel, and it’s iconic Victorian Band Stand. There are many recreational facilities including cinder football pitches, hard tennis courts and cricket nets. Transport into Central London is provided by the Northern Line Underground Stations at Clapham Common and Clapham South with the facility to change at Stockwell onto the Victoria Line.
