Alternatively, jump in the car and in approximately 5 minutes you can be at the famous Chatsworth farm shop. Chatsworth House itself and the gorgeous village of Edensor is about 8 minutes drive away. Also close by is the Tudor manor house Haddon Hall – a film makers favourite – being the location for no less than three versions of Jayne Eyre, amongst many others!

Being based in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park, Sugar cottage is perfect for avid walkers and cyclists and is a stones throw from Bakewell’s Monsal Trail.
