This unique, unobstructed house on the hill directly above La Spezia offers a stunning panoramic view over the bay and the surrounding mountains. Different room zones of the upper floor are created by open transitions and natural room dividers such as the fireplace or a flat shelf made of local stone. This creates permeable, spacious and open areas of living, dining and kitchen, which at the same time naturally integrate the outdoor space. Adjacent on the upper floor, the living area is complemented by a small toilet.

The extensive garden surrounding the house extends over numerous terraces with olive and fruit trees as well as a large selection of native and other ornamental plants. The garden is particularly attractive because of two large overgrown garden pavilions with large stone tables underneath; one of the pavilions is complemented by a romantic garden pond that is fed by the house's own well. There you can also have lunch and relax in the shady greenery.

It is possible to build a pool.

The driveway and the courtyard of the house impress with a wide courtyard (approx. 310 m2) paved with handmade stones (Mattoni Pietra Toscana), which flows directly into the surrounding garden.

You reach the property via a private road that ends at the house at a large wrought-iron gate. Two paved lanes have been laid out on the road of the property. Three large garages (approx. 51 m2) are set into the ground in the hillside by the house, which can be used as additional storage space. Laid with lawn stones, there are further parking spaces on the property outside the garage.

La Spezia is the capital of the eponymous province of La Spezia in Liguria. The city, situated on the "Golfo dei Poeti", the Gulf of Poets, has a comparatively mild climate. The small town is characterised by a cheerful and busy Italian life. The town centre is largely car-free, offers many good restaurants and bars and excellent shopping facilities, including the daily food market with a huge selection of fresh fish, fruit, vegetables, cheese and many specialities from Liguria.

The old town is characterised by beautiful art nouveau houses, narrow streets and lively squares. From the old town you step onto the long town promenade, lined with palm trees and flowers and a park. On the promenade are landing stages for excursion boats to the island of Palmaria, to the surrounding former fishing villages and to Cinque Terre.

Culturally, the town has a theatre that offers both classical and jazz concerts, musicals, ballet evenings or plays. There are several museums as well as a castle that towers over the city.

The sea, the hills, the vineyards, the old fishing villages and small churches along the Gulf Coast and the Cinque Terre form enchanting and varied landscapes. The region allows for a wide range of leisure activities.
