Over the last years, Sifnos Island has developed as a tourist destination, although in a shorter scale than other Aegean Islands, retaining thus its quiet beauty. With traditional architecture, relaxing beaches and lovely landscape, Sifnos Island is located in the western side of Cyclades and can be combined with island hopping to Serifos and Milos. The capital of Sifnos Island is Apollonia, a picturesque village with white cube houses, paved streets and nice view to the sea, as it is built amphitheatrically along the slopes of a hill. The beaches of Sifnos Island are sandy and relaxing.
