Description of the buildings

The historical building (899 sqm – 9,673 sqft) is laid out onto three above ground floors, plus a panoramic terrace and a cellar in the basement. These floors (all connected by stairs and elevator) host 13 apartments for guests, each made up of a bedroom, a dining room with kitchen and a private bathroom. Only exceptions to this rule are one of the apartments on the last floor (which has three rooms and has exclusive access to the terrace) and an apartment on the ground floor (which has a single room). Still on the ground floor we find the office for the business.

State and finishes

The building was already in the registry in 1942 and architecture and building materials allows an estimated construction date ranging between 1865 and 1871 (during these years Florence was the Capital of the newborn Kingdom of Italy). The other building, give its peculiar plan, was probably the final part of a small convent.
