The town has plenty of independent shops as well as a modern shopping area, and there are two large retail parks on the outskirts, with a large choice of high-street brands. To give yourself a break, there are several riverside cafes with lovely views of the Cleddau River.

Transport

Haverfordwest is on the A40, the main route that joins the M4. From Haverfordwest it continues north to Fishguard. The A4076 takes you south to Milford Haven. For travel by train, Haverfordwest station is on the Milford Haven branch of the West Wales Line, with services to Swansea, Cardiff and Bristol. Bus services from the station connect with St David's, Fishguard and Cardigan, as well as a direct service to Aberystwyth.
