The centre of Malaga is set around the stunning Alcazaba, one of Spain's last remaining Moorish forts, dating back to 1065. There are plenty of other historic buildings in the city, as well as a fine archaeological museum within the Alcazaba, giving Malaga a distinct sense of the past.
