Property description

A bright, neat and characterful two bedroom apartment on the second floor of a smart modern development, with leafy green views and lush communal grounds. It's all less than five minutes on foot to the Central line at Leytonstone tube.

You also have the gold dust addition of a secure private parking garage. Drivers can be on the North Circular in less than ten minutes.

If you lived here...

You'll be stretching out in your especially generous, 215 square foot reception room, with blonde engineered hardwood flowing underfoot, and a striking forest green statement wall opposite a huge wall spanning window, framing leafy green views. Across the hallway, your first bedroom is a solid 110 square foot double, softly carpeted with more natural views.

Elsewhere your kitchen's a strikingly characterful affair, with rich timber countertops, metro tile splashbacks, cream cabinetry and a stately royal blue colour scheme framing another oversized window, again presenting tranquil treetops. Bedroom two's another substantial double, while your bathroom's finished in a mix of white and slate grey with a teardrop tub.

Outside and, as noted, it's barely three minutes on foot to Leytonstone tube, where direct fourteen minute runs to Liverpool Street add up to a door to door City commute of less than twenty minutes. Heading to the West End? Tottenham Court Road is just nine minutes further. Or if you're staying local, the ever evolving amenities of Leytonstone High Road are just five minutes past the station, including the likes of Homies On Donkeys (the second location for these much-loved taco specialists) and the stately Red Lion Hotel, Public House and Ballroom.

What else?

- Leyton Midland Road overground station is just fifteen minutes on foot, for the Gospel Oak to Barking Riverside line, and direct runs to the River Thames.
- If it's nature you're after then the endlessly explorable greenery of Epping Forest and the wide open wilderness of Wanstead Flats are both around a fifteen minute stroll away.
- For your new local may we recommend the Heathcote & Star? It's a lovely gastropub with fine wines, superb food and a packed programme of events including regular stand up.

A word from the owner...

"The flat has been a great fit for us over the past 7 years of living here. We're reluctantly moving on to get somewhere slightly bigger for our growing family. It's on the top floor and benefits from lots of light throughout the day (and lovely sunsets in Autumn and Spring). It's warm in the colder months, thanks to double-glazing and decent insulation. The block itself is really nice and self-contained. The garden has been ideal for letting our toddler and dog safely roam free. You're surrounded by families, so it's peaceful at night. The flat has its own garage with electricity, so has the potential to be used as a workspace, gym or simply as a handy extra storage space. You're completely spoiled for transport: Having the Central Line at the end of the road and Leyton Midland Road only 15 mins away. That said, we've also benefitted from a steadily growing number of great bars and restaurants in the local area: Filly Brook and Arch Deli for drinks (both just 5 mins walk away); Unity, Wild Goose and Back to Ours for decent coffee; Homies on Donkeys for Mexican. And not forgetting the shops and cafes on Francis Road (a 15 min stroll) and our favourites for take-away beer and wine: Stone Mini Market and Theatre of Wine on the High Road. The wider area is full of great places to visit: Epping Forest for muddy dog walks; the tea hut, ponds and bluebells at Wanstead Park; the William Morris Gallery; the Wetlands at Blackhorse Road... We could go on!"
