Property description

A truly splendid residence, exuding the charm and grace of a period home, yet enjoying the efficiency and modern proportions of a contemporary home having only been constructed in 2001.

Description

Tucked away in a secluded position on a generous plot, this superb home stands proudly in a private position that was once within the woodland grounds of the neighbouring Rectory. Constructed from reclaimed bricks in a period style, this beautiful residence enjoys the best of both worlds; classical elegance built to modern construction methods. Accommodation briefly includes a reception hall, a lounge with a log burner, a dual aspect dining room with an open fire, a spacious open-plan breakfast kitchen and separate utility, a home office, a light and airy garden room that was constructed in 2022, four double bedrooms on the first floor with two bathrooms, and a further fifth bedroom with an ensuite on the second floor with an expansive play room or entertainment space.

Outside

The property is approached via a long sweeping gravel driveway through a gate. There are lawns either side with trees and shrubs, with ample parking to the front elevation and in front of the double garage with the added benefit of a 7kw/h car charger. Two side gates either side of the main dwelling provide access to the rear garden which is predominantly laid to lawn with further trees, beds and perennials. There is a garden shed and a paved area providing an ideal space for outdoor eating and entertaining.
