The village is particularly noted for its very well preserved Cotswold architecture, gets a mention the Domesday Book of 1086 and has had a Church in various guises since at least the 12th Century. Anyone looking for a quiet and small spot, conveniently located for the amenities of the surrounding area would be hard pushed to find a nicer village in our opinion.
