The township of Holmisdale is situated within Glendale on the Duirinish Peninsula of Skye. Although still a very traditional crofting township, due to its fertile soil, the whole glen was removed from crofting tenure some years ago.
The village of Lephin offers a limited number of facilities including a post office/general store and a cafe, further facilities are available in Dunvegan approximately 7 miles away.
