We are the only independent Estate Agent offering full coverage of the East Devon area, and as such, offer a unique level of coverage in this highly sought-after area. All our staff live locally, so, our knowledge of the East Devon market is extensive. We are open six days a week to ensure we are here for both buyers and sellers, renters and landlords and we strive to ‘go the extra’ mile for everyone we deal with, paying particular attention to specific requirements and ensuring that we fulfil our customers’ expectations, honestly and efficiently.

Dean Milton

Dean began his career in 1986 with a local independent estate agency in Exeter. In 1997 he joined Nick Hall as an original team member of Halls Estate Agent and he has been instrumental in expanding the business as Hall and Scott to include lettings and block property management.

Sales Negotiator
Nick started in estate agency in 1977 and in 1997 Nick and his wife started Halls Estate Agents in Ottery St Mary. They successfully built the company up to be one of the largest firms in the area. In 2003 they launched their lettings department and in 2006 Halls acquired Huxtables Estate Agency who successfully specialised in Block Property Management and Rentals.
Elliott Jeffery
Assistant Office Manager
Elliott started his career in 2013 working in New Homes and has worked for three of the UK’s major housebuilders across the South West. During his time in New Homes, Elliott has worked in both the Sales and Customer Services departments which afforded him multi-functional exposure to all aspects of the process. Elliott joins the team at Hall & Scott as Assistant Sales Office Manager.

After buying her house through Hall and Scott and being so impressed by the service, Nicky joined our West Hill Team in 2015 before moving onto our Ottery St Mary Office and becoming part of the Marketing and New Homes Team. She really enjoys being part of this professional, helpful and friendly team.

Emily, an ex pupil of The Kings School was born and raised in Exmouth and began her career in the property industry in 2017. She joined a Corporate Estate Agent in their Lettings department after travelling for 3 months in New Zealand, Fiji and Australia. In June 2019 she then joined us here at Hall and Scott as a Sales Administrator.

Liz moved to East Devon from Surrey in 2015. Having purchased her house through Hall & Scott, she was so impressed with the service she received that she came to work for us in 2017. With a background in Sales and Marketing, Liz enjoys all aspects of being an Estate Agent and has extensive knowledge of the area we cover. As the Sales Progressor for the Ottery office her role is to ensure that every sale and purchase proceeds to a successful completion.

Chris has been working at Hall & Scott for 5 years and is responsible for Operations and Land & New Homes. Having previously ran his own development company and being involved in the Home Improvements industry for over 20 years. With his background this gives him a unique view from both sides when it comes to New Homes developments. Working closely with land owners and developers to maximise opportunities.

Lettings Manager
Tina has worked in lettings for 17 years and became the lettings manager at Hall and Scott in 2013. She specialises in the Honiton, Ottery St. Mary and Sidmouth areas of East Devon. Tina prides herself in having extensive local knowledge which ensures that a high quality service is provided.
