Feel at home in Lop Hall, a charming holiday home nestled in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. This recently refurbished property offers beautiful interiors and stunning views of the romantic, wind-swept moorland and Danby Dale.

Lop Hall is brimming with character and traditional interiors. The spacious living room features two comfortable sofas, a flat-screen TV with Firestick, and a log-burning fireplace, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The shaker-style kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, including a dishwasher, and a washing machine is available, making it ideal for longer stays. A dining area between the living room and kitchen includes a traditional wooden table with ample seating and doubles as a snug room with books and games. The first floor hosts three cozy bedrooms: A tranquil king-size master with an en-suite shower room, a second king-size bedroom, and a room with single bunk beds and a secret reading nook. Each bedroom is furnished with premium bed linens and bedding. The main bathroom on the first floor has a bathtub with a handheld shower, WC, and wash basin.

Private on-site parking is available for up to three vehicles and well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Lop Hall per reservation.

Uniquely positioned on a wild moor yet within the charming village of Danby, Lop Hall offers the best of both worlds. Enjoy the convenience of a local pub, shop, and excellent bakers/cafe within a short walk. The Danby Moors Centre offers a mile-long moorland walk, an outdoor play area, a museum, cafe, and art gallery. The Fox & Hounds pub in Ainthorpe is highly recommended. The village of Castleton, a five-minute drive away, has a supermarket, shops, and a pub. The nearest seaside town is Saltburn-by-the-Sea, a charming Victorian resort with restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, and the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK. Whitby, a popular seaside town known for its Blue Flag beach and historic abbey, is 16 miles away. The market town of Guisborough, ten miles away, features a cobbled high street and the historic Gisborough Priory.

Events are not allowed. Lop Hall is committed to protecting the owner's home during bookings. Guests are required to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00, which covers up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
