Feel at home in Lop Hall, a charming holiday home nestled in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. This recently refurbished property offers beautiful interiors and stunning views of the romantic, wind-swept moorland and Danby Dale.

Lop Hall is brimming with character and traditional interiors, featuring a spacious living room with two comfortable sofas, a flat-screen TV with Firestick, and a log-burning fireplace. The shaker-style kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. A dining area between the living room and kitchen offers a traditional wooden table with ample seating and doubles as a snug room with books and games. The first floor hosts three cozy bedrooms: A master king-size room with an en-suite shower room, a second king-size bedroom, and a room with single bunk beds and a secret reading nook. Each bedroom is furnished with premium bed linens and bedding. The main bathroom on the first floor has a bathtub with a handheld shower, WC, and wash basin.

Private on-site parking is available for up to three vehicles and well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Lop Hall per reservation.

Uniquely positioned on a wild moor yet within the charming village of Danby, Lop Hall offers the best of both worlds. Enjoy a peaceful retreat or an action-packed getaway, with a pub, shop, and excellent bakers/cafe within a short walk. The Danby Moors Centre, a short walk away, features a mile-long moorland walk, an outdoor play area, a museum, cafe, and art gallery. The Fox & Hounds pub in Ainthorpe is recommended for food. The adjacent village of Castleton, a five-minute drive, offers a supermarket, shops, and a pub. The nearest seaside town is Saltburn-by-the-Sea, a charming Victorian resort. Whitby, 16 miles away, is known for its Blue Flag beach, medieval streets, and the iconic Whitby Abbey. The market town of Guisborough, ten miles away, features a cobbled high street and the historic Gisborough Priory.
