Freshford is a quiet village situated in the Limpley Stoke valley, surrounded by fields and woodland, yet only 10 minutes by train to the bustling Roman city of Bath. The village offers wonderful woodland and canal walks, nearby cycling along the river Avon, and a great community cafe and shop just a minute away. The cafe serves delicious breakfasts and freshly prepared lunches, and The Freshford Inn on the banks of the river Frome offers a wonderful array of micro-brewed ales and beers and fantastic gastro-style food. Freshford is very well connected with a regular bus and train service into Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, and London.
