This is two-bedroom furnished flat in Rotherhithe, south-east London, open for medium-term stays of around 1-6 months.
It's in a quiet gated development and comes fully furnished with utilities, WiFi, linens, towels, and fortnightly cleaning included. I previously let it as a short-term rental, so it's set up for people to arrive, unpack and immediately feel at home, rather than having to assemble a household from scratch.
The location has worked well for guests who need to move around London regularly but don't want to live right in the middle of it. Rotherhithe station is about five minutes away on foot and Canada Water around ten, with easy access to central London, Canary Wharf, London Bridge, and the university and museum areas.
Rotherhithe itself feels a bit removed from the pace of the rest of London. There are riverside walks, old docks, parks, cafes and local pubs, and it still has something of a neighbourhood feel despite being well connected.
The flat is around 680 sq ft and was recently renovated. Guests often describe it as warm and comfortable. We've furnished it gradually over time rather than all at once, and there are books, artwork, and found objects collected from different places. It feels more like someone's home than a standard rental.
At the moment there's a small double school desk in the living space, but if you're coming to work or write, we are happy to arrange a larger desk and comfortable chair.
The main bedroom has a king sized bed and ensuite. The second bedroom has a triple bunk arrangement, which has worked well for families or for guests who need flexibility. There is another bathroom just off the hallway.
The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday cooking and the flat includes the practical things needed for a stay of a few months.
Lengths of stay and dates are flexible depending on availability, and i'm happy to discuss individual circumstances.
We hope is simply that it feels like a calm place to enjoy the sound of the River Thames waves for a while :)
