We were living in the flat until we moved overseas, so it is renovated and maintained like a home, not a rental flat with cheap refurbishments. The bed is high enough for a 6'2" person to comfortably walk underneath and yet the ceiling is still high enough over the bed that even a tall person can easily sit up in bed. There is also an inbuilt wardrobe here.

Storage is plentiful. There is a 'Harry Potter' cupboard under the stairs, lots of shelving in clever spaces, and a small attic. The wood sash windows are double glazed and the halogen lights are all energy saving.
