Hellifield nestles on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is surrounded by rolling hills, dry stone walls and agricultural land. It was once an important railway junction with the station being re developed in 1880 with a new line from Hellifield to Blackburn which transformed the village into a main passenger and freight interchange. Consequently many houses and streets were built in the early 20th century to house a large railway population, though much railway land was sold for housing after the closure of the Lancashire lines in the 1960's. The historic station remains and still connects Skipton to Settle and onto Carlisle, with an additional service linking through to Leeds and on to London Kings Cross. Within the village there is a Primary School, doctor's surgery, village hall, local shops (butcher and post office), two cafés, fish and chip shop and two public houses.
This beautiful terraced property is situated on a lovely quiet road close to the centre of Hellifield. The house has been refurbished to a very high standard and early viewing is highly recommended as houses like this don't come on the rental market very often.
The entrance hall leads to a very handy utility area which has plumbing for a washing machine and plenty of storage space. The large open plan living and dining area really is a fantastic space with glorious views to the rear of the house. The modern, white kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge, double oven and electric hob and is clean and bright with access to the back garden. The garden is on different levels and provides a fabulous area to sit out and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the location.
Upstairs there are two good sized double rooms with fitted wardrobes and a useful storage cupboard on the large landing. The bathroom includes a walk in shower, a claw foot bath and is fresh and modern.
To the rear of the property there is a parking space and a shed for use by the new tenant. The views across the countryside really are stunning.
The train station is a very short walk away which gives access to Leeds and other major cities.
