The area also features a promenade, a cycle track, and the Estrada Atlântica, providing fabulous walks.

A purpose built cycle track stretches from Foz do Arelho connecting to the Estrada Atlantica where you can cycle for miles. There are also fabulous walks that surround this entire area.

The main town of Caldas da Rainha is a 15 minute drive away. Caldas is a historic spa town, where you can find all amenities. There is a hospital, schools and the council for the municipality. The town also has a variety of restaurants (from various cuisines), shops, supermarkets and a very popular farmers’ market, where you can find fresh vegetables, fruits, and flowers.
Caldas is famous for its ceramic industry, one of the most characteristic ceramic styles in Portugal. Caldas also has a wonderful park, with a large lake, where you can see many different birds. The park houses different activities and events throughout the year.

It is a one hour drive to Lisbon and Lisbon Airport.
