Ponte de Lima, Portugal's oldest town, is a land of traditions, with a valuable cultural, landscape and environmental heritage. Environment conservation issues are considered a fundamental pillar in the sustainable development that has been practiced in this region. In recent years, the Municipality of Ponte de Lima has carried out several large-scale environment and green spaces projects, some of which are considered pioneering in the country.

In this context, this four-star eco-green hotel project was born. It was born from the idea of complementing the existing tourist infrastructures in the vicinity, such as the Camping Park, the Pedagogical Farm, the Environmental Interpretation Center, the Lagoon Education Center and the Private Adventure and Nature Center.

It stands out from existing hotels by promoting the region, its products and contact with the local community, with a growing concern for the surrounding environment. In line with current trends, there is an awareness that the products of nature tourism, active tourism, cultural tourism and gastronomy and wine are strategic products for Portugal and have a strong penetration in the foreign market due to their location and purpose.

The project foresees a capacity of 57 accommodation units distributed over 3 different spaces:

The project also includes: A restaurant/bar, a gym with an indoor swimming pool with plenty of glass to enjoy the outdoors, an educational space, a store, and a meeting room.

This fantastic project aims to become a benchmark unit from an environmental perspective, both outside and inside the hotel, where the unit itself will be a conduit for good environmental, educational, and recreational practices.
