The monumental atrium of the Palace, in Genoese style, features marble columns and balustrades, a short staircase and vaulted ceilings. The internal halls are decorated with frescoes attributed to the painter Maurizio Carrega, while the vaults are adorned with late seventeenth-century frescoes by the painter Giovanni Battista Merano.
