Property description

Prestigious property situated on the slope of a hill on the edge of a wide valley between the Casentino, Valdarno and Val di Chiana.

Vineyards, cypresses and olive groves frame the whole, making this place a realm of peace and serenity.
This wonderful property was built in 1915 in Art Nouveau style.

There are large reception rooms such as the billiard room, the study with the old library and the dining room. The very beautiful villa is surrounded by a flower garden, a large pine forest and a hilly terrain with old olive trees.

The property has a large swimming pool overlooking the countryside of Arezzo with changing rooms and bathroom as well as a professional tennis court, a greenhouse and the house of the caretaker.

The charm of the complex, its historical value, the enchanting location and the presence of the private consecrated chapel and the panoramic tower make this villa a more than unique property.

Magnificent, elegant and completely renovated, the property is located in a context of peace and tranquility, with a unique panorama. It consists of 700 square meters of space distributed over four floors and twelve rooms.

On the ground floor there is the dining room with a large fireplace, the kitchen and the study, as well as a bathroom. On the lower floor there is a game room with pool table, the charming privately consecrated chapel and a laundry room.

On the first floor there are five bedrooms with two bathrooms, one room has a terrace. On the second floor there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of the rooms has access to the panoramic terrace.

In the villa, the authentic turret and the reading room are still preserved. The caretaker's house is built on two floors and includes three bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom.

The villa is surrounded by a park of about 1.5 hectares, where there is a large swimming pool of 12 x 15 meters and tennis court.

The property is only 10 km from the center of Arezzo. The city offers countless works of art and museums. In fact, in Arezzo you can find the frescoes of Piero della Francesca, the Loggiato di Piazza Grande designed by Giorgio Vasari, where in June and September takes place the historic commemoration of the Giostra del Saracino.

Other places of interest in Arezzo include: The Romanesque parish church of S. Maria, the Roman amphitheatre and the church of S. Domenico, which houses Cimabue's crucifix.

30 km south is Cortona, in the beautiful Val di Chiana, where you can admire the Etruscan tombs of Melone del Sodo and the Etruscan Museum.

Towards the north lies the Casentino valley, rich in Romanesque churches and imposing castles, surrounded by oak and chestnut woods. There you can admire the valley as well as the towns of Stia, Pratovecchio, Bibbiena and the monasteries in the area. The fourth largest city in Tuscany is also the capital of the province of the same name and is one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Italy - a true jewel of medieval art and architecture. The beautiful Piazza Grande with its steps and cafés is the lively centre of Arezzo. Here locals, tourists and visitors meet to enjoy the typical Tuscan flair.
Small shops run through the city, everywhere there is something to discover and if you are interested in history and churches, this is the place to be, because Arezzo has a long history, it was founded by the Etruscans.

Today Arezzo is still famous for its jewellery handicraft, its antique market and its many high-quality antique shops. There is always something to discover here!

Many famous people were born in Arezzo, such as Patrizio Bertelli, ceo of the Prada fashion group to this day.

Arezzo has excellent transport links, the E45 runs through the city, it has a small airport for private aircraft and the nearest larger airport is Perugia and a good 90 km away.
