4) How far is the airport from the beach house?
Approximately a 30 minutes drive.
5) Can I obtain property deeds for the land?
Yes you can obtain property deeds for the land.
Note. Deeds only issued on full payment for the land.
6) How long does it take to obtain the property deeds and what are the closing costs?
When we purchased the house since it has clean deeds we managed to obtain the property deeds in three weeks time. However this is only a guild. At holiday⁄vacation time the Notary Public offices are closed so it will take long at say Christmas time.
7) Does the house have clean deeds, any debts, liens or outstanding bank loans?
The house has clean deeds, zero debt, no liens or bank loans. Also all property taxes are up to date and all paid all property and land in Brazil have clean deeds.
8) what are the closing costs?
Approximately 6 % of sale price. My wife can help and assist you in obtaining title deeds and her fees are 5%. You can obtain title deeds yourself if you want to save money.
9) Can foreigners live in Brazil.
Yes. For examples Europeans can live in Brazil for 6 months out of 12 months.
