Outseats Farm, off Mansfield Road, is conveniently located on the outskirts of Alfreton and less than 2 miles to Junction 28 of the M1 and the A38. Mansfield, Chesterfield, Nottingham and Derby are all within 15 miles with Sheffield, Birmingham and Leicester all within 55 miles from the development. The town, and surrounding villages, all offer a good choice of services, independent local shops, supermarkets, several public houses and a selection of restaurants and coffee shops.

Transport

Public Transport Services: Trains from Alfreton; there is generally an hourly East Midlands Trains Local service northbound to Liverpool Lime Street via Sheffield and southbound to Norwich via Nottingham. Northern Train Services run an hourly service between Nottingham and Leeds that stops at Alfreton. Northern plan to begin, from late 2018, operating Northern Connect services between Bradford Interchange and Nottingham over this route. East Midlands Trains operate selected outbound morning commuter services between Leeds and London St Pancras via Alfreton and return services in the evenings. These services run from Monday to Saturday only. The area is also well served with a comprehensive bus service.

Health

Health Facilities: There are a number of GP’s surgeries close to the development and most offer a range of services, however, with the great location, medical centres, dentists and doctors surgeries in the surrounding areas are also easy to travel to.
