Tornagrain
Tornagrain is the Highlands’ newest town, just 8 miles east of Inverness. It’s inspired by historic urban towns of the region such as Nairn, Grantown-on-Spey and Fort William.
The town will be developed in 3 walkable residential neighbourhoods surrounding a town centre.
Tornagrain’s main aspiration is to create a long-lasting community.
Village parks, tennis courts and allotments will create spaces for residents to meet, relax and interact.
Even before we put a spade in the ground, local businesses expressed interest in Tornagrain, seeing the exciting opportunity that a new town offers.
Each neighbourhood will provide its residents with their daily needs with a primary school and opportunities for convenience stores, cafés, offices and shops.
Leisure
Tennis Courts are open to residents with allotments due to open shortly.
Education
Tornagrain will have its own primary school but initially the primary catchment is Croy primary School and the secondary school allocation is at Culloden Academy
Transport
A bus service will shortly be up and running in the town.
Directions
From the A96 airport roundabout, take the south exit (signposted as Croy) and folow the road along for approx 1 minute.
