Development info

Occupying a sought-after position in the bustling hub of Livingston, 16 miles from Edinburgh, our new development Rosebank Wynd will suit a wide range of buyers, from families to commuters.

Surrounded by wide open spaces yet just a mile from a wealth of shops and services, Rosebank Wynd offers the best of both worlds. Livingston is the largest town in West Lothian, and was the fourth post-war new town to be built in Scotland. As a result of this it’s ideally designed for modern living, offering a wide range of essential amenities such as supermarkets, schools and health services in addition to some of the best shopping in the country. At the heart of the town you’ll find The Centre, a vast shopping centre hosting over 150 shops and food outlets, as well as Livingston Designer Outlet, Scotland’s largest collection of designer brands.

While you’re not enjoying endless retail therapy, there are many opportunities to get out into nature at one of the many local parks and nature reserves. Meanwhile for vibrant nightlife, world-class cultural attractions and numerous job opportunities, beautiful Edinburgh can be reached in 45-minutes by car, or around an hour by bus and train.

Leisure

Situated within 2 miles of the development are Almondvale Park with its riverside walks and playground, peaceful Eliburn Park and Bellsqarry Wood. A waterside stroll from the town centre will lead you to Almond Park, while slightly out of town Almondell & Calderwood Country Park is a tranquil space for walking, cycling and horse riding. A menagerie including meerkats, bears and wolves make Five Sisters Zoo – just 2.4 miles from the development – a great day out for all the family, while sports fans can stay active at the local football and rugby grounds and golf club.

Education

There’s a number of great local schooling options. Livingston Village Primary, Bellsquarry Primary School and Williamston Primary School can all be easily reached from Rosebank Wynd, while older children can attend James Young High School or West Calder High School. Higher education options include West Lothian College and Heriott Watt University.

Transport

Getting around couldn’t be easier. There are two train stations in Livingston, the closest being Livingston South just 2 miles away, from where you can catch a 35-minute direct train to Edinburgh Waverley or a 58-minute direct train to Glasgow Central. The two cities can also be reached by bus thanks to terminals located at Livingston shopping centre, while the nearby M8 provides speedy road access. For travel further afield, Edinburgh airport is just a 20-minute drive away.
