Leisure

Bexhill-on-Sea has many attractions to enjoy; the De La Warr Pavilion on the seafront holds several events throughout the year or you can simply stroll along the attractive promenade and take in the sea air. You could try the challenge of the 1066 Country Walk - a 31 mile-long route, or a more leisurely visit to Egerton Park - which has a boating lake with activities during the summer months, along with a play area and café. The town of Bexhill-on-Sea is steeped in history and has examples of Victorian and Edwardian architecture; two of the main focal points are the famous 1930’s De La Warr pavilion and the King George V colonnade on the sea front. The wide promenade with its gift shops, cafés and entertainment venues, means there’s something for everyone. The town is also known for hosting the first British motor race in 1902.

Shopping

The Ravenside Retail & Leisure Park is to the east of Bexhill-on-Sea, where you’ll find a selection of national brands. The town centre offers a really good range of high street shops and for your grocery day-to-day shopping there’s Lidl, Sainsbury’s, Tesco Express, ALDI and Iceland. The Priory Meadow shopping centre in Hastings is another popular retail option.

Bexhill-on-Sea has good transport links from Bexhill train station, with routes to Brighton, Eastbourne, London Victoria and Ashford International. Gatwick, Heathrow and London City airports are all within easy reach. The nearest port is Dover just over an hour and half away.
