Cissbury Ring is an Iron Age hill-fort built around 2500BC – marvel at the undulating pits and mounds that mark out the hill-fort’s remains and enjoy spectacular views in every direction from this magnificent landmark.

What’s more, Highdown Hill is the site of a Bronze Age settlement that has produced some fascinating archaeological finds and, on a clear day, you can see as far as the Isle of Wight! While you’re in the area, why not visit Highdown Gardens. Overlooking the sea, these beautiful chalk gardens are home to a unique collection of plants and trees.
