The heart of the apartment is the spacious open plan reception, kitchen and dining area, where floor to ceiling windows span almost the entire width of the room, flooding the space with natural light and creating a fantastic feeling of openness. The reception opens directly onto a private east facing terrace, enjoying morning sunshine and far reaching views across the London skyline towards Canary Wharf. It is an ideal space for a morning coffee or simply relaxing and taking in the views.
Both bedrooms are comfortable doubles, with the particularly generous principal bedroom benefiting from fitted wardrobes and its own en-suite bathroom. A separate family bathroom serves the second bedroom and guests. The apartment has also benefited from upgraded carpets and flooring, enhancing the overall finish.
Being situated on the top floor, the apartment enjoys an excellent level of privacy and a peaceful atmosphere, despite its incredibly central location.
Residents benefit from a concierge service, lift access and secure bicycle storage. The building also enjoys a relatively low service charge compared with many other modern developments in the surrounding area.
Location
Provost Street is ideally positioned on a quieter residential street, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Old Street while remaining within easy reach of everything this vibrant part of London has to offer.
Old Street station is approximately five minutes away on foot, while the restaurants, independent shops, cafés and nightlife of Shoreditch and Angel are both within a short walk. The City is also easily accessible, making this an exceptionally convenient location for both work and leisure.
For those who enjoy exploring on foot, the charming streets of De Beauvoir Town are approximately 15 minutes away, while the nearby Regent's Canal offers picturesque walking and cycling routes towards London Fields, Broadway Market and Victoria Park.
The combination of excellent transport connections, a thriving local neighbourhood and a peaceful residential setting makes this a particularly desirable place to call home.
The property is offered chain free.
A word from the owner:
"What i've loved most about living here is the incredible location. You're right in the heart of Zone 1, yet the apartment feels wonderfully peaceful, tucked away from the busy surrounding streets. It's rare to find somewhere so central where you can genuinely switch off and relax.
The views are another real highlight. Being on the top floor, the apartment enjoys fantastic easterly views across London towards Canary Wharf. One of my favourite things has been sitting out on the balcony with a glass of wine, taking in the skyline. During the summer months, the balcony enjoys lovely sunshine from the morning through to the early afternoon, making it a fantastic spot to spend time outdoors.
The neighbourhood has so much to offer. De Beauvoir Town is around a 15 minute walk away, while the Regent's Canal provides wonderful walking routes towards London Fields and its popular Saturday market, or further on to Victoria Park. For anyone who enjoys a good pub, the George & Vulture is a personal favourite and, in my opinion, one of the best in London!
You're also perfectly positioned between Angel and Shoreditch, both around a 10 minute walk away, with Old Street station just five minutes from the apartment. Getting around London couldn't be easier, with most central destinations accessible within around half an hour.
The building itself is peaceful, with considerate neighbours, and being the penthouse apartment at the very top of the development gives it an added sense of privacy. I've also upgraded the carpets and flooring from the original specification, which has made the apartment feel even more comfortable.
For me, it's been the perfect balance of city living and having somewhere quiet to come home to. I'll particularly miss the balcony, those wonderful views and having so many fantastic neighbourhoods right on my doorstep."
