Comment from Oliver Weston of Gascoigne Halman

Homes priced under the £200,000 mark and within a few miles of Tarporley are unfortunately all too rare, thankfully this charming period cottage favourably located in the centre of Alpraham village provides what a lot of buyers will be looking for. The internal space is well presented offering some lovely characterful period features as well as modern day styling and layout. Externally there is a tiered rear garden which has a balance of paved patio areas and bedding areas.

Internally, the property begins with a spacious open plan living and dining room with feature log burner fireplace to make for a lovely place to relax. At the rear of the home is the fitted kitchen which benefits from garden access. To the first floor are the two bedrooms, with principal of which being a comfortable double and the spare currently being used as a dressing room has scope to serve as a home office of single bedroom. Both rooms are served by the stylish main bathroom with a bath and shower enclosure.

The property is being sold with no onwards chain so for a personal description of the property or to arrange a viewing, please contact myself or the Gascoigne Halman Tarporley office.

Directions

From Tarporley leave in the direction of Nantwich passing the Texaco / Spa on the left hand side. Carry on and at the traffic lights take a left hand turn onto the main A49. At the ‘Four Lane Ends’ crossroads (with Indian restaurant on your right) carry straight on. Proceed into the village of Alpraham, passing the Travellers Rest pub and then the turning for Bunbury Road on your right. Shortly after this turning you will find a small lane between some roadside houses that leads to the cottage, which is the right of the two semi detaches homes at the end of this lane. Should you reach the turning for Hilbre Bank on your left or The Tollemache Arms on your right, you will have passed the property and need to turn around when safe to do so before proceeding back into Alpraham.
