Owners Comments...
This flat has been a special and valued home to three members of our family. All have enjoyed the calm, safe, quiet cul de sac location.
Our Dad lived here first, having moved to be nearer to family. He enjoyed being in walking distance of so many local shops as well as comfortable reach of the local bus stop. The ground floor flat gave him easy access in and out and he liked being able to watch the world go past the end of the Close through his window.
His two granddaughters then lived there in succession with their partners. It was a perfect, bright and lovely first home for them. While they were there we redecorated and updated the space with new front door, kitchen, bathroom, flooring and radiators. The short walk to the Central line eased working from the office days while the flat is big enough to enable comfort when working from home. It’s also been wonderful to have access to the large, private, shared garden space behind the block.
The eight flat owners jointly run the management company and we meet annually as well as keep in touch via Whatsapp as necessary. We decide and manage our own service charges and needs, giving all a say in how the site is maintained.
Our family needs have now changed and we are ready to move on. We hope whoever lives here in the future finds a wonderful and welcoming home here.
James The Agents Comments...
This well-presented one-bedroom ground-floor maisonette offers approximately 500 sq ft of accommodation and is ideally positioned in St Gregory Close, just a few minutes' walk from South Ruislip's excellent transport connections and everyday amenities.
Approached via its own front door, the property opens into a welcoming entrance hall with useful storage, leading through to a decent-sized lounge, separate kitchen, double bedroom and modern bathroom.
The property has been updated and decorated throughout and is now offered chain free with vacant possession, making it an attractive proposition for a first-time buyer, commuter, downsizer or investor looking for a straightforward purchase with excellent rental and transport appeal.
Outside, residents benefit from a large communal garden to the rear, while there are ample communal parking spaces to the front for both residents and guests.
Location is undoubtedly one of the property's strongest features. South Ruislip Central Line and Overground station is just a few minutes' walk away, providing convenient connections into Central London and beyond, while the nearby A40 offers excellent access by road towards London, the M25 and the wider motorway network.
For day-to-day convenience, the Old Dairy cinema and leisure complex, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and local shops are all within easy reach, meaning much of what you need is right on your doorstep.
