About this property

  • Off street parking

Generous and well-appointed one double bedroom ground floor purpose-built flat set within a private gated development, with an allocated parking space.

This is a properly cute tucked-away position in New Cross/Nunhead borderland, just a few minutes from Nunhead Station and indie high street.

In your own front door and you are welcomed by a larger than average hall. There is a built-in cupboard which is great for coats etc. First on your right is the big bedroom, of 13 feet by over 9 feet. Custom-made shutters grace the window (windows are double-glazed throughout). Pleasingly, you have these in your reception as well

Opposite the door to the bedroom is the door to your smart internal bathroom. This is a contemporary affair with excellent fitted storage and large profile tiling.

Your large reception room is next door. This is 15 feet by 12 feet, giving you plenty of space to zone separate seating and dining areas. Your independent windowed kitchen is set off this room, with modern wall and base units and brick-style tiling.

We have mentioned Nunhead Station. Queens Road Peckham and Brockley stations are also easily-walkable (both have Windrush line services for added connectivity).

Village-vibe Nunhead is just a short stroll away with its central Green, butcher, fishmonger, bakery and wine and beer shops, as well as a host of pubs, cafes and restaurants. We like El Vermut, Goodcup (/Goodnights) and BARD4100 in Nunhead, plus Connie’s (pizzeria), Beer Rebellion and Blackbird Bakery by Queens Road Peckham Station.

Peckham Bazaar (Balkan brilliance) is a little further, and Brockley has some top spots and loads of cute coffee shops. Here we like Browns of Brockley, Ellary's, Cantinera, Mauby, Brickfields, Sundae and Good As Gold.

The centres of Peckham, New Cross and East Dulwich are also very close for more options.

In SE14, Telegraph Hill’s Victorian Parks (Upper and Lower) are great spots, as is The Hill Station community cafe and on-site pizza place. There is a weekly Saturday market held in the Lower Park, or you can nip down to Brockley Market (also held on Saturdays, in the Lewisham College Car Park).
