If you lived here...
The renovation makes an impression before you even step inside, with newly laid paving to the front garden, refreshed brickwork and a bespoke front door setting the tone. Inside, the ground floor has been comprehensively updated, beginning with a generous bay-fronted reception room where parquet flooring adds warmth and deep green joinery brings plenty of character. A newly added ground-floor WC sits neatly off the hallway.
To the rear, the brand-new kitchen forms part of a bright, sociable living space, with pale cabinetry and a clean, contemporary finish. The parquet flooring continues into the dining room, giving the whole ground floor a natural sense of flow. There’s plenty of room here for a full dining table, making it an easy space for everyday meals, family gatherings or having friends over, while doors open directly onto the large private rear garden.
Three bedrooms occupy the first floor, with the largest positioned at the front. The family bathroom sits towards the rear and includes a bath with shower above. Each bedroom has its own character, while the simple palette and natural light keep the upper floor calm and cohesive.
The second floor is given over to a further double bedroom, complete with its own ensuite shower room, built-in storage and access to eaves storage. Skylights bring in plenty of daylight, making this a particularly appealing top-floor retreat. Altogether, the layout offers useful flexibility for family life, guests or working from home, while the secluded rear garden gives you plenty of outdoor room to enjoy.

A word from the owner...
"Shaftesbury Road has been such a great house to live in, it will certainly be missed. I chose the house because of the location and it really made a difference. Great schools nearby, the Victoria line and Overground are so close and yet this street is small and lovely, just off the main roads. You can watch the fireworks across the city from the loft as well as a view of City of London. During my time at this house, i've been able to renovate the ground floor, starting from the front garden. It has been great to enhance some of the Victorian features whilst also blending in some modern design and practicalities for how we live now. There is still room to expand for the future as well... I am off to my next adventure, and I hope the next owners will enjoy Shaftesbury Road as much as I have."
