When we started to view properties in the summer of 2024 we were immediately drawn to Heywood Avenue. The lovely green at the front, the quiet road and big garden made it feel like home straight away.

The house has so many benefits that mean it's a perfect fit for a family and we have really enjoyed living here. It's only a short drive to Maidenhead train station which makes the commute into London for work easy and the 4th bedroom was also perfect for us to have a home office set up. Something that was important to us was having a utility room, for extra storage and getting the washing out of the kitchen. Although the house didn't have one when we moved in, we managed to use some of the garage space and turn it into a multi functional utility room with plenty of storage. We also spent some time having a brand new downstairs toilet put in as well. All of these things really added value in our eyes for how we move around the house.

As our daughter is only little we created a playroom in the dining area, and that has also become a great multifunctional space. We can see her play and interact with her anywhere downstairs due to the open plan style.

Unfortunately we are relocating for work, otherwise we would continue to live here for the foreseeable. We hope someone else will find this their perfect home as well.
