Sometimes our sellers just make the job a little bit easier for us....welcome to Waite Davies Road. Over 900 sq ft internally - original character & yet a stylish modern feel.
Stylish interiors with a nod to the home’s period character, offering a generous & bright living & dining area, separate kitchen, two well-proportioned bedrooms, a very large bathroom with a four piece suite & Victorian style tiles.
The sellers have loved their time here, so we’ll let them tell you the rest...
We have been incredibly happy at Waite Davies Road, which was our first home, and we’ll be leaving with so many happy memories - not least bringing our daughter home from hospital when she was born.
When we first moved here, we were regularly commuting into Central London for work and making the most of evenings out. Now we’re a family of three, and one of the things we’ve come to appreciate most is how well the area works for family life too. We spend lots of time in the local parks and with the friends we’ve made nearby, as well as visiting some of our favourite local pubs including The Crown, The Summerfield and The Lord Northbrook. There are also plenty of excellent independent cafés, restaurants and shops around Lee and Hither Green.
The location has been a huge part of why we’ve enjoyed living here. Lee station is just over a 10-minute walk away, with direct trains into London Bridge, Waterloo East & Charing Cross, making commuting into Central London quick & straightforward.
Blackheath Village is within walking distance or a short bus ride away, and we regularly visit Greenwich Park too. Waite Davies Road is also close to the Superloop bus network, providing another convenient way to travel towards Canary Wharf and Bromley.
Despite being so well connected, Waite Davies Road is a quiet residential street with friendly neighbours and a real sense of community.
Number 10 has been a very special home for us. We’ve loved living here and watching our lives change from a couple commuting into London to a young family putting down roots in the area. We hope whoever moves in next will be every bit as happy here as we have been
