An attractive pathway of original Victorian tiles leads to a sheltered porch and front door, opening into a welcoming entrance hall with extensive bespoke, hand-crafted storage, including custom built understairs cupboards and fitted hallway cabinetry. Engineered oak flooring extends throughout the ground floor.
To the front of the house is an elegant sitting room featuring a wood burning stove, original bay window and decorative cornicing, all of which enhance the property's period character. To the rear, the house has been extended to create a superb kitchen/breakfast room, finished to an excellent standard and benefiting from independently controlled underfloor heating. This impressive open plan space provides an ideal area for both everyday family life and entertaining, centred around a charming wood burning stove. French doors open directly onto the garden.
The kitchen is fitted with a Rangemaster cooker, Shaker style cabinetry offering ample storage, generous granite work surfaces, and a range of integrated appliances including a dishwasher, American-style fridge/freezer and washing machine. A further reception room, currently used as a family/play room, enjoys a dual aspect and doors opening onto the rear terrace.
The first floor accommodation comprises two generous double bedrooms. The principal bedroom is positioned at the front of the house and benefits from a bay window with plantation shutters, bespoke fitted wardrobes, and an en suite shower room. He second bedroom also features high-quality bespoke fitted storage. Completing this floor is a spacious family bathroom fitted with a white suite, including a roll top bath, walk in shower and vanity unit, together with underfloor heating.
A further double bedroom occupies the second floor and is presented in neutral décor. Two rooflights frame attractive views across Henley town centre, while bespoke fitted storage has been thoughtfully incorporated within the eaves.
Outside, the front of the property is approached through a beautifully landscaped walled garden, with a pathway of original Victorian tiles leading to the front door. The rear garden is a particular feature of the property, offering a wonderfully private and mature setting. Beautifully stocked borders, specimen trees and established planting create a colourful and tranquil backdrop, while a series of paved terraces provide excellent areas for entertaining and al fresco dining. A lawned area sits beyond, framed by attractive brick walls and mature greenery, giving the garden a delightful sense of seclusion. A useful side passage provides secure gated access.
