Sellers Comments-
From the moment I first saw this home-late at night and in complete darkness-i felt an immediate and profound connection. I touched the building and prayed it would one day be mine. By morning, I couldn’t wait to act. Instead of calling the estate agent, I went straight to the house, knocked on the door, and the owner kindly welcomed me in and showed me around. I moved quickly because of the location and because I knew, without hesitation, that this was my dream home.

Since moving in, I have invested great care and attention into enhancing the property, as it was where I intended to spend the rest of my life. I designed and built an additional fullystructured room with deep foundations, suitable for use as a bedroom, conservatory, sunroom, dining room, or flexible living space. The running costs for electricity and gas remain low due to continuous improvements, including added insulation and ongoing upgrades to keep the home above average in efficiency.

Although my heart grieves to leave this home, my deteriorating health has made the decision necessary. I pray that God blesses me with another home as special as this one. This property is truly undervalued for what it offers. I am hoping to find a home in this area, as it is an ideal and highly sought-after location and very safe.

The home features an abundance of beautiful period details, including a beautiful and well-kept front garden, back garden with decking and fenced. There are 2 parking spaces with one at the back which can be rented out. The lean-to forms as two storage sheds with only rear access and directly from the house so it's been a huge bonus for me.

Upstairs, the first floor feels cosy, offering two generous double bedrooms and a large modern bathroom.
The location is superb within walking distance of the town centre, local schools, train station, Reading University, Reading College, many shops and many buses runs 24/7 in Reading, buses to London, Oxford amongst other places.

This delightful, warm, comfortable and welcoming home has been priced to sell. It is perfect for a family seeking generous living space in an excellent location or an investor looking to create accommodation for multiple tenants.

Kiel’s view-
If you’re searching for a home that’s easy to move straight into, offers low-maintenance modern living and puts everyday convenience right on your doorstep, this fantastic two-bedroom end terrace could be exactly what you’ve been waiting for.

Positioned on Fatherson Road in East Reading, this newer-build home has been thoughtfully enhanced by the current owners, with the standout addition being the conservatory to the rear. Complete with an insulated roof, it’s a genuine year-round living space rather than just a seasonal extra room. Whether you need a dining area, home office, playroom or somewhere to relax with a coffee, it adds valuable versatility to the home.

The accommodation is bright and well presented throughout, with a welcoming living room flowing into the kitchen and the conservatory beyond, creating a practical layout that works equally well for everyday living and entertaining. Upstairs are two well-proportioned bedrooms alongside the family bathroom, making this an ideal home for first-time buyers, young professionals, couples, small families or those looking to downsize without compromising on comfort.

Outside, you’ll benefit from allocated parking to the rear, while the end terrace position provides an added sense of privacy compared with neighbouring homes.

One of the biggest attractions here is the lifestyle on offer. With both Tesco Express and Co-op just a short stroll away, picking up everyday essentials couldn’t be easier, while regular bus services into Reading town centre are only moments from your front door. For commuters, professionals and anyone who enjoys being connected without relying on the car, it’s a location that makes everyday life refreshingly simple.

Whether you’re buying your very first home, searching for an easy-to-maintain property or looking for a smart investment in a consistently popular part of Reading, this home offers an excellent combination of modern living, convenience and connectivity.

Area view-
Fatherson Road enjoys a highly convenient East Reading location where daily essentials, green spaces and transport links are all within easy reach. Tesco Express and Co-op are both just a few minutes’ walk away, making shopping effortless, while nearby cafés, takeaways and local businesses provide everything needed for busy day-to-day living.

For those who enjoy getting outdoors, Palmer Park is approximately 0.7 miles away and offers far more than open green space. The park features tennis courts, football pitches, a children’s play area, a popular café, walking routes and the Palmer Park Sports Stadium with its gym, athletics facilities and velodrome, making it a fantastic place to exercise, meet friends or simply unwind.

Reading town centre is around 1.5 miles away and is easily reached in around 30–35 minutes on foot, approximately 10 minutes by bicycle or via the frequent bus services operating close to the property. Once in the town centre you’ll find The Oracle shopping centre, riverside restaurants, cafés, bars, gyms, cinemas and a thriving programme of events throughout the year.

Reading Station provides outstanding commuter connections, including fast services to London Paddington in as little as 23 minutes, direct routes to Oxford, Bristol, Birmingham, Gatwick Airport and the South West, as well as Elizabeth Line services offering convenient travel through central London to Canary Wharf and beyond. The A329(M), M4 and surrounding business parks are also easily accessible by car, making this an excellent location for commuters working across the Thames Valley.

Combining modern housing, excellent transport links, nearby green space and everyday convenience, this is a location that continues to appeal to first-time buyers, young professionals and investors alike.
