We have absolutely loved our time here. It's been a peaceful, sunny home and a wonderful setting for family life, which we'll miss deeply. From the moment you open the bifold doors onto the decking and look out across the garden, you get a real sense of what makes this place so special. The space has been perfect for both entertaining and everyday living - summer barbecues, family gatherings, football matches and a full-size pool in the warmer months. The way the inside flows out to the garden fills the house with light and makes it a naturally sociable place to be.
The location strikes a brilliant balance between tranquility and convenience. Set well back from the road, with woodland opposite and a quiet estate behind, it feels like a genuine haven yet it's incredibly well connected, sitting between two stations for London or the West and on a handy bus route into Reading. The village has a fantastic community spirit too; the recreation ground is just a short walk away and hosts the much-loved Burghfest each year, as well as pop-up pubs through the summer. We've also been rather spoiled by the food options nearby, including some award-winning local restaurants.
This has been a much-loved family home where we've made so many happy memories. We're sad to leave, but excited for the next owners to make it just as special for themselves.

The house is located on the outskirts of Burghfield Common, and is a great spot that really gives you that village feel while keeping everything you need close by. You’ve got the local Tesco express and schools right on your doorstep, and it’s a really easy to get into Reading town centre when you need more choice. There is loads of green space to explore, with Wokefield Common just around the corner for some lovely walks.

We really like the layout of this one, especially the amount of space on offer. It sits on a great plot size which is a huge plus, but the real standout for us has to be the extended part of the house. We love how the bi-fold doors open right up onto the garden. It makes the whole space feel so much bigger and is perfect for when you’re having people over. It’s a bright, well-proportioned home, and we think it's a brilliant find for a family looking for that extra bit of room.
