Property Insight
A detached bungalow in the popular town of Newmarket, within walking distance of both the town centre and the railway station. This freehold home offers around 910 sq ft of accommodation, comprising a bright lounge, a modern fitted kitchen with breakfast space, three double bedrooms, a shower room and a separate WC, a detached store room, an enclosed rear garden, and driveway parking.
Set behind a walled frontage, the property enjoys a hard-standing driveway providing off-road parking, along with gated side access through to the rear. Its white-rendered exterior and hipped tiled roof give it a tidy, individual look on the road. Once inside, the entrance hallway is bright and welcoming, with wood flooring, loft access, and doors leading through to the living accommodation.
The lounge is a comfortable and well-presented room, with a window to the rear garden, feature wall covering, carpet, and pendant lighting. There is ample space for a variety of lounge furniture, along with room for a desk or home-working area if needed.
The kitchen is a real highlight, fitted with a modern range of green shaker-style base and wall units, brass handles, and quartz-effect worktops. It features a gas hob, an integrated oven, a chimney extractor, tiled splashbacks and flooring, and a window over the sink looking out to the garden. There is space for a washing machine and other appliances, plus room for a small breakfast table.
Through to the sleeping quarters, this lovely bungalow continues to offer generous accommodation, with three well-proportioned double bedrooms and attractive decor throughout. There is a shower room comprising a walk-in shower, a hand wash basin and a heated towel rail, along with a separate WC with a hand wash basin - a genuinely useful arrangement for a home of this size.
Outside, to the rear, the garden is fully enclosed and offers a private, low-maintenance space, mainly laid to a paved hard standing with mature hedging and trees providing greenery and screening. There is plenty of room for garden furniture and dining al fresco, gated side access back to the front, and a detached store room offering excellent additional storage.
