About this property
2 Bedrooms
Rare to market Eighth floor Penthouse with huge private terrace.
Organised over 800 square feet of accommodation, two-bedroom, two-bathroom double-aspect apartment is located within the sought-after Bellville House development in West Greenwich, London SE10
The property's due south aspect means it is bathed in natural light through large floor to ceiling windows, providing for a modern, airy, open-plan living area. The standout feature of this particular residence is its superb private roof terrace that expands your living area into the open air. This terrace serves as an exceptional space for entertaining or relaxing while capturing stunning panoramic views towards the City and Greenwich Park.
Further outside space is provided by a south facing balcony accessed via the second bedroom. Residents further benefit from a 24-hour concierge service, lift access, video entry security, an internal communal courtyard garden, and an on-site PureGym.
Greenwich Village and Royal Park are within walking distance. Maritime Greenwich is a unesco World Heritage site encompassing The Royal Naval College, The Queen's House and National Maritime Museum as well as the Greenwich Observatory. The Village is filled with big brand shops and amenities including an M&S Foodhall, Waitrose, a Picturehouse Cinema, many restaurants, bars and coffee shops as well as the famous Greenwich Market. Greenwich is well catered for culturally – the old Royal Naval College grounds now house The Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and Greenwich Theatre is still going strong. There is the Greenwich Comedy Festival in the college grounds in September and an ice-skating rink at Christmas.
Bellville House is located immediately next to Greenwich National Rail and DLR stations, so connections to Central London, Canary Wharf, and beyond could not be more convenient.
Vendor Testimonial: We have loved living in this uplifting, well-designed space which is bright and airy even on the darkest winter days. The outside space is much larger than you'd usually expect for a London apartment, and the open views across the rooftops of West Greenwich make it a lovely place to sit and relax, while also being great for entertaining friends and family, day or night. On Bonfire Night and New Year's Eve, you can see fireworks across central London, as well as over Blackheath and Crystal Palace. The garden planters are maintained by a landscaper as part of the service charge, but we've also enjoyed making the space our own by growing fruit and vegetables and planting seasonal flowers over the years. Bellville House is a friendly community where people help each other and the 24 hour concierge is something we will miss for help with mail, security and more. Car Parking spaces also come up to rent fairly regularly if needed. The ground floor secure bike storage has meant we've often cycled along the River Thames for lunch or drinks with friends, just as easily as we've walked to Greenwich Market, Greenwich Park, or into Deptford and Greenwich town centre for the great cafés, bars and restaurants. We've also really appreciated the transport links. Living so close to the train station and DLR and with many other nearby connections has made travelling around London and beyond so easy. Finally, the flat has been incredibly easy to live in. We initially used the large second bedroom with its own balcony as a guest room, but it has adapted with us over the years, providing flexible space and extra storage as our family has grown.
Our hope is that the next people to call 99 Bellville House home, create as many happy memories here as we have.
