A beautifully presented two bedroom Victorian terrace set on a peaceful residential street in Stratford. With a west facing garden, two double bedrooms and scope to extend subject to the usual permissions, this is a home that balances character and practicality. Maryland's Elizabeth line station is within easy reach, while the wide open spaces of West Ham Park are close by, offering the perfect balance of connectivity and greenery.
If you lived here...
Step through the front door and into a bright, welcoming home that has been carefully maintained throughout. The ground floor unfolds into a generous through reception and dining room, where natural light flows from front to back and timber flooring adds warmth and character. Thoughtful decorative touches and a calm palette create an easy sense of home. To the rear, the separate kitchen is neatly arranged with plenty of worktop and storage space, while the bathroom sits conveniently on this level, finished in clean, neutral tones and tucked away at the back of the house.
Beyond, the west facing garden is a real highlight, offering a private outdoor retreat that catches the afternoon and evening sun. With space for dining, planting and relaxing, it feels like a natural extension of the living space during the warmer months. Upstairs you'll find two well-proportioned double bedrooms, both filled with natural light and offering comfortable accommodation with plenty of flexibility for family life, guests or working from home.
There is also exciting future potential here. Like many homes along this attractive Victorian terrace, there is scope to extend, subject to the necessary permissions, allowing future owners the opportunity to adapt the house as their needs evolve. As it stands, the property is ready to move straight into and enjoy from day one.

A word from the owner....
"We’ve loved our time at Tennyson Road and there are so many wonderful things about the house and area that we’ll certainly miss. Transport links couldn’t get much better; positioned between Maryland and Stratford stations, you’d be directly connected to most areas in London. Despite being so close to excellent transport, the road itself feels leafy and calm thanks to it being at the end of a cul-de-sac. On-street parking is available outside the house which is a huge plus. The garden gets all day sun and backs onto Stratford Park, which provides wonderful birdsong and a backdrop of lush greenery.
We love lazy weekend mornings spent strolling through nearby West Ham Park (which is truly one of the most beautiful and underrated parks in London!), and getting coffee and pastries at Tamping Grounds. Clapton fc football games at the Old Spotted Dog are a perfect weekend day out, ideally followed by a pint and board game at Freaks and Geeks. There are so many amazing food options nearby, with local gem The Pie Crust topping our list."
The house is light and airy, and we love the open layout downstairs - it’s perfect for hosting, as is the garden. It’s great to look out to the park when working from the spare room, and our neighbours are wonderful. It’s been a perfect home for us, and we’ve really enjoyed doing it up and making it as cosy as possible!"
